INTEGRIS Health joins MyHealth Access Network, Oklahoma’s Health Information Exchange

MyHealth Access Network (MyHealth) today announces the addition of INTEGRIS Health to its health information exchange (HIE) network, and welcomes INTEGRIS CIO, Dr. Benjamin Mansalis, to its Board of Directors.

The addition of INTEGRIS Health brings MyHealth’s membership to 300 Oklahoma health care organizations serving more than 85,000 patients daily across more than 1,100 sites of care statewide. MyHealth is an Oklahoma non-profit that securely links health care data from providers across the state so that every patient can count on having their complete health record being available where and when they need it for care. This helps providers and patients work together to improve the quality, safety, and coordination of care while at the same time reducing costs and avoiding unnecessary duplication of services.

Dr. David Kendrick, MyHealth’s CEO, said that INTEGRIS Health’s participation in the MyHealth network will add value for MyHealth’s other members and for all Oklahomans.

“INTEGRIS doctors and hospitals serve urban, suburban and rural communities throughout the state,” said Kendrick. “As members of MyHealth, INTEGRIS providers will have a more complete picture of their patients’ health, and the thousands of other providers they coordinate care with across Oklahoma will have more immediate access to test results, discharge summaries, and plans of care for the patients they share with INTEGRIS. It’s a win-win-win solution for INTEGRIS providers, their colleagues, and especially for patients.”

“As Oklahoma providers battle COVID-19, this type of care coordination is more important than ever. Every member of the care team must always be well-informed about testing and infection status, and MyHealth HIE provides insight into a patient’s total health record to ensure safety, quality care and reduced duplications.” added Timothy Pehrson, INTEGRIS Health President and CEO.
