Job Overview
The Clinical Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting alignment of MyHealth Access Network’s products with clinical expectations, workflows and clinical data interpretation. This role involves collecting, processing, and interpreting clinical data, generating reports, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Data Collection & Management:
- Pull and integrate data from disparate sources (e.g. cost and claims or clinical data).
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data by performing regular data quality checks.
2. Data Analysis & Interpretation:
- Analyze clinical data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform product design.
- Apply statistical models and data mining techniques to interpret complex data sets.
- Generate and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to clinical teams and other stakeholders.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting:
- Ensure that all data handling practices comply with relevant regulations, including HIPAA.
- Support audits by providing accurate and timely data.
4. Collaboration & Support:
- Utilize clinical knowledge and technical understanding to support client services, IT, enterprise marketing, and participant network teams as needed.
- Provide training and support to staff on data management and analysis tools.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in healthcare data analytics, including new tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Participate in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare informatics, statistics, public health, health care or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in clinical data analysis or a related field.
- Experience working with healthcare data, including EHRs, clinical trial data, and patient registries.
3. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards and coding systems, such as ICD-10, CPT, and SNOMED.
4. Other Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in healthcare.
- Experience with clinical and claims data quality measurement
- Experience in clinical process improvement

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a remote position. The employee must have a private location from which to work, with Internet access and a personal smartphone with capability to be secured and have support for SMS, apps for multifactor authentication and remote hotspot (technology stipend provided to help offset costs). Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional virtual office environment (Remote). This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, paper binders and paper cutters.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required in support of on-site meetings, projects and customers, primarily local and statewide.
