Todd Hoffman, M.D., C.P.E
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Todd Hoffman, M.D. was named chief medical officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) in 2019. Prior to joining BCBSOK he was at Ascension St. John Health System in Tulsa, where he served 13 years in a variety of roles, including attending emergency medicine physician, chief medical officer, and medical director of St. John Community Emergency Departments and the St. John Health System's portfolio of Urgent Care Centers.
In 2016, Dr. Hoffman was named the President and Clinical Dyad Leader of St. John Clinic/Ascension Medical Group - Tulsa, a 600-provider multi-specialty clinic, with over 100 locations of care, and well over 1.1 million patient encounters per year. Dr. Hoffman has a focus on driving high quality around value-based, and personalized care delivery models for patients.
Dr. Hoffman received a Finance degree and worked in the private industry for several years for a worldwide lighting manufacturing company in finance, operations, and marketing for the North America Division. He received his medical degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1999. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physician Executives and is a Certified Physician Executive. He served as Chairman of the Board of SJFI, LLC the ACO for St. John Health System, and was an active member of several joint venture boards. He was also a past board member of the St. John Foundation and the National Ascension Medical Group.
